Christmas Store
This won't mean much to you, what I'm gonna say
I'm on a whole new level, this holiday
I can tell that you're educated, and quite tasteful
so you just might appreciate
a well set table
I own a Christmas Store
and if I'm lucky I'll own a few more
a few more
I set out the merchandise
and those ladies
they told me it's nice
it's so nice
There's something wonderful
about gold and meerschaum
just another pretty thing
that we can wish on
and the folds in your velveteen
I as going to mention
the way you put those on
gives me a slight extension
I own a Christmas Store
and if I'm lucky I'll own a few more
a few more
I've got the best damn garland that you've ever seen
and stars they twinkle and gleam
they do gleam

The groove on Badala is an absolute monster. If this doesn't move you, you might as well check yourself into the ER to make sure you aren't dead because the groove is DEEP and HARD. Polygondwanajams

A fantastic album. I can see why they didn't continue under the name The Evens, as it's a different sound with the bass added. Coriky is the Evens + Joe Lally from Fugazi on bass. If you can imagine The Evens with a slightly more funky, aggressive sound like Fugazi... that's what you get! And there's no way that can ever go wrong. What a great debut album!! smiledozer
