We could run in a cave
and maybe find us a jewel
we could dig up some bones
a certain sign of renewal
We could jump for an hour
on this trampoline
we could follow the sun
just to see what it means
Collections strewn across a bedroom floor
corrections to some things I may have said before
get up and press your face to mine
get up and wake up your precious
wake up your precious mind
we could find a big room
and yell in the space
we could beat on the walls
and see the look on their face
Collections strewn across a bedroom floor
corrections to some things I may have said before
get up and press your face to mine
get up and wake up your precious
wake up your precious mind
The groove on Badala is an absolute monster. If this doesn't move you, you might as well check yourself into the ER to make sure you aren't dead because the groove is DEEP and HARD. Polygondwanajams
A fantastic album. I can see why they didn't continue under the name The Evens, as it's a different sound with the bass added. Coriky is the Evens + Joe Lally from Fugazi on bass. If you can imagine The Evens with a slightly more funky, aggressive sound like Fugazi... that's what you get! And there's no way that can ever go wrong. What a great debut album!! smiledozer
